Sandpoint Community Hall is a 5400 sq ft log framed structure located at 204 S. First Ave. This building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is one of the focal social gathering spots in the City. The main portion of the building is log and was constructed and furnished by local citizens and organizations in 1935-1936 for use as a community meeting and gathering place. For approximately three years in the mid 1940s, it was loaned to the United Servicemen Overseas (USO) for use as a social hall for sailors and soldiers stationed at Farragut Naval Station. The USO funded the 840 square foot addition on the south side of the building in 1945. This 5400 sq. ft. building contains a large kitchen, large meeting room, 2 small meeting rooms, and restroom facilities.
