The City of Sandpoint ("City") conducted a rate study update for both the water and wastewater utilities. The purpose of the study was to provide a rate forecast and financial plan targeting stability, revenue sufficiency, and rate equity for the FY 2023 - FY 2028 rate setting period. In addition to updated rate forecasts, the City also wished to update their New User Facility Fees (NUFFs), reflecting the most recent asset listings, to ensure ongoing equity between existing and new customers. Finances are projected for a twenty-year period with the primary focus on the near-term rate-setting timeframe. Drop your check/money order with your utility bill payment stub in our drop box at City Hall, 1123 Lake Street in Sandpoint. The drop box is located at the east end of City Hall on Ella Avenue, in between the City Hall parking lot entrance and the Fire Department driveway.
- Payments dropped after 8:00am will be credited the following business day.
- Be sure to note your nine-digit account number on the check/money order.
- Important Note: Late payments should be brought to the Utility Billing clerk inside City Hall.
