The Sandpoint Police Department Patrol Division is comprised of 2 Sergeants, 3 Corporals, and 10 Patrol Officers.
The Patrol Division provides 24/7 service to the community. The officers who work in our Patrol Division are dedicated, highly trained professionals who are committed to the community. The primary responsibilities of the Patrol Division include:
- Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service.
- Conduct routine patrol in a vehicle, on a bicycle, or on foot.
- Enforce the Idaho criminal and traffic codes.
- Issue citations or warnings when necessary.
- Serve warrants and arrest offenders when a crime has been committed.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with community members.
