The City Attorney is a public official who represents the municipal corporation with duties specified by Idaho Code section 50-208A. The City Attorney provides legal advice to the Mayor, City Departments, and the City Council on various issues including land use, personnel, and elections. The City Attorney is also responsible for drafting and reviewing proposed agreements, ordinances, resolutions, and other official documents and for overseeing outside counsel handling other litigation
