The City of Sandpoint is seeking bids for their WWTP Screw Press Upgrade. The project can be summarized to include Installation of two owner-furnished screw presses; removal of existing belt presses, associated access platform and stairs; modifications to existing digested sludge, utility water, and polymer piping; installation of associated mechanical systems; electrical upgrades, structural modifications including roof replacement and new lift hatch; and HVAC improvements within the dewatering building.
The Work will be performed at the City of Sandpoint Wastewater Treatment Plant and must be coordinated to maintain continuous plant operations in accordance with the Contract Documents.
Sealed bids are due to the City Clerk, City of Sandpoint, at City Hall, 1123 Lake Street in Sandpoint, Idaho 83864, not later than 2:30:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. Submittals need to be clearly marked with the Submitter’s Name, Project Title and Bid No. No late submittals or virtual submittals will be accepted.
Bids will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date in the Council Chambers at City Hall (address above) and virtually via Zoom. Zoom link is provided here.

There will be a Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference for this project held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 2:00:00 pm local time. Pre-Bid Conference will be held at Sandpoint Wastewater Treatment Plant, 723 S Ella Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho. Bidders must attend. Attendance is not optional.
