Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Sandpoint at the office of the City Clerk of said City on or before the 27th day of June, 2017, until the hour of 2:00 p.m. for the Sand Creek Transmission Water Main Project. Bids will be opened at the Council Chambers at City Hall on June 27, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. on said date. All interested individuals are welcome to attend.

Project Description: This project is located in Bonner County, Idaho and generally consists of replacing approximately 5,000 lineal feet of 18-in transmission water main from the Sand Creek Water Treatment Plant to the Woodland Reservoir, including a new pipe bridge at Little Sand Creek, temporary standby power at the Lake Water Treatment Plant, and other associated work.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on June 21, 2017 at the Council Chambers at City Hall.

All bids shall be presented or otherwise delivered to the City Clerk at 1123 Lake Street, Sandpoint, Idaho 83864, in a sealed envelope with a concise statement marked on the outside identifying the project to which the bid pertains.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. A Public Works Contractor’s License for the State of Idaho is required to bid this work.
