NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the City of Sandpoint for the Memorial Field Grandstands and Gateway Project:

The Project involves the construction of covered grandstands with locker rooms, bathrooms, and storage areas below. Also included in the Project is site work, including concrete and asphalt surfacing, a gateway, ticket booth, and the associated utilities for the grandstands.

There will be a pre-bid walkthrough on Tuesday June 7, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at the Project site.  ALL PRIME BIDDERS MUST ATTEND THE PRE-BID WALKTHROUGH.  Sub-contractors are encouraged but not required to attend.

The deadline to submit a bid is 3:00 p.m. on Monday June 27, 2016, to the City of Sandpoint Clerk, 1123 Lake Street, Sandpoint, ID. Bids will be opened at that time. Please indicate "Memorial Field Grandstands and Gateway" on outside of bid envelope.

Contract documents were prepared by James A. Sewell and Associates, LLC. Copies of the contract documents may be obtained at for $10.  Reference project number 4508853.

Bidders are required to hold a State of Idaho Public Works Contractor license with the appropriate classification and a bid limit equal to or greater than the amount of the bid in order to submit a bid. All specialty subcontractors must also be licensed as a Public Works Contractor in the State of Idaho at the time of the bid.

All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond and payment bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Sandpoint.
